Hot Poppin' Culture News From New York City

Anne Hathaway Lets Her Freak Flag Fly at Les Miz Premiere (photo)

Anne Hathaway Lets Her Freak Flag Fly at Les Miz Premiere (photo) 1Anne Hathaway is devastated–devastated-– after joining a unique little club; celebrities who go to major functions without underwear and end up exposing their private parts to a horde of paparazzi.

It’s the money shot to end all money shot for street photographers

Usually, however, they’re relegated to catching d-list celebrities off guard, like Paris Hilton, Sharon Stone, or Lindsay Lohan. Or some sauced up supermodel.

But every so often it happens to be best of them. Hathaway has joined the A-list wing of the club with stars like Emma Watson and Miley Cryus.

The British actress was caught in an unguarded moment, flashing he privates in see-through lace underwear at her 18th birthday party. And, Britney Spears is famous for her reveals.

Hathaway was getting out of a car, the usual scene of the crime, for the “Les Misérables” premiere in New York City. Her Tom Ford dress, already split up the front like the Red Sea, part ever so slightly to reveal her bare naked lady. How quaint, she has pubic hair.

“I was getting out of the car and my dress was so tight that I didn’t realize it until I saw all the photographers’ flashes,” Anne was overheard saying the next day at a the luncheon, the New York Daily News reported. “It was devastating. They saw everything. I might as well have lifted up my skirt for them.”

Still it begs the question; how much of this is by accident and how much is contrived? As a publicity stunt, it kind of went out fashion in 2008.

Hathaway certainly doesn’t need the publicity, with a hit movie about to come out. So maybe it was just for the thrill of it. Maybe now she’ll invest in underwear.
