Jessica Chastain, who is stunning audiences in her new film “Zero Dark Thirty,” breaks into high fashion with an equally stunning spread by renowned photographer Bruce Weber for Vogue Germany. See the photos!
Chastain, 35, appears in the jazz-themed pictorial as an exotic chanteuse, wearing a strapless black dress.
She also gets up close and personal with a set of bongos, a saxophone and French actor Omar Sy, posing as a sax player. Sy is best known for French film “The Intouchables,” for which he won the César Award for best actor, the equivalent of the Oscars.
He gives her some pointers on the sax in bed, where else? She wears a green pajama ensemble.

In other photos, she poses seductively with pearls and runs her fingers through her flaming red hair. On the cover she wears a scarlet, asymmetrical gown from Gucci’s spring collection. Fashion editor Christiane Arp styled the shoot.
Weber, 66, is know for his work with Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Abercrombie & Fitch, Revlon and Gianni Versace. He’s also done editorial work for Vogue, GQ, Vanity Fair, Elle, Life, Interview and Rolling Stone. And, he’s shot the iconic Pirelli Calendar.
The cover has been making the rounds of fashion websites, but TheImproper has obtained the complete photo spread. Chastain also appears in the upcoming covers of British GQ magazine and W Magazine.
Chastain knows her way around a musical instrument. She attended the Juilliard School in New York City.
She literally exploded on the big screen last year in two films, Terrence Malick’s “The Tree of Life,” with Brad Pitt and Sean Penn and “The Help,” for which she received a best supporting actress Oscar nomination.
