Did Taylor Swift Mock Harry Styles During Grammy Performance?

grammys07-taylorswiftTaylor Swift scored on the red carpet and on stage during the 55th Grammy Awards last night (Feb. 11) and appeared to lord it over ex-boyfriend Harry Styles. Did she actually take a dig at him on stage?

Taylor, 23, wore a stunning white J.Mendel gown with silver detailing that just skirted CBS’s dictum on appropriate dress for the awards show. She showed just enough skin to keep it sexy.

The awards show is familiar territory for her and she looked relaxed and jubilant during the broadcast. Although she admitted to some nerves ahead of her knock-out performance.

“I really hope its decent and good,” she told E! News. “I hope I don’t nerve out and freak out.”

But she didn’t during the big production.

Taylor Swift Sexy Classy at Grammys

She sang her song “We Will Never Ever Get Back Together.” And, she sent a message to ex-boyfriend Styles, who sings with British boy band “One Direction.”

The diss comes about 2:20 into her performance((see below), when she says: “Hello, I still love you,” in a mock English accent.

‘I’m sorry, I’m busy opening the Grammys, and we’re never getting back together,” she replies.

During her song, she spoke in an English accent when she played the part of her boyfriend calling on the phone.

The song was reportedly written initially for ex-boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal. But apparently it’s a one size fits all break-up tune.

The performance was a take-off on Alice in Wonderland. Swift dressed as the Mad Hatter in white top hat, tails, shorts and tall boots. She peeled off her clothes until she was down to a pair of scanty hot pants

It wasn’t a big night for her, but she still won the “Best Song Written For Visual Media Award” for her song “Safe & Sound” from “The Hunger Games” soundtrack.
