Kristen Stewart was iffy for the Oscars this year because she hurt her foot, but she gamely made the big show on crutches. She was spotted working her way down the red carpet with the assistance of an aide.

Stewart, 23, was slated to be one of the Oscar presenters at the 85th Academy Awards, and definitely kept the date.

She was traveling solo, however. Boyfriend Robert Pattinson is in Australia shooting his film “The Rover” with Australian actor Guy Pearce.

Stewart was spotted at the presentation rehearsal, limping on her right foot from an unexplained recent injury, according to the Associated Press.

The “Twilight” actress hit the red carpet in a stunning Reem Acra gown and smiled broadly.

She wore one of the most prominent colors of the night, a white cream color. The dress was strapless with a plunging back.

She complemented her dress with Jimmy Choo heels and Fred Leighton jewels.

She stood on her own for photos, and limped as she changes spots. Off to the side just out of view and assistant held her crutches. As soon as her posing was over, she walked into the lobby of Hollywood’s Dolby Theater on crutches.

While Stewart was on the red carpet she ran into Jennifer Lawrence and the two talked with each other for a few minutes. Sketchy reports claimed that Lawrence had dissed Stewart over her affair, but were widely doubted.

Lawrence and Emma Watson huddled with Stewart at the Toronto International Film Festival in a solid public showing of solidarity.

Stewart had not made her presentation on stage at presstime. Stay tuned for more Oscar updates and follow TheImproper on Twitter for the latest celebrity news.
