Gomez, 19, also shows off a totally different look from her latest movie, “Spring Breakers.” She plays a rowdy college student, ready to try anything on vacation in Florida.
In the magazine, she models a white dress from Calvin Klein’s spring collection for the cover and a more casual orange and white-stripped long-sleeve top and short-shorts by Dolce & Gabbana. She has that dreamy million-miles-away look in her eyes.
Selena Gomez Rocks High Fashion Look
Her most feminine looks are in designs by Oscar de la Renta, Dior, Akris and Prada. Selena, like many of her young Hollywood contemporaries, has made a strong move into fashion. She even has her own branded scents.
But around the house, she’s totally down with the casual look. “I do not give a damn what I look like, I don’t,” she told the magazine.
“I wish I could pay attention because Gwen Stefani, say, looks flawless. Of course, when I’m on red carpets, I’m nervous, sweaty, and weird.”
Despite the calamitous end to her on-again, off-again, two-year relationship with Justin, Gomez says she still believes in love.
“To me, love is normal. Of course, you see Jay and Beyoncé and you’re like, ‘Oh, my gosh, they’re perfect for each other.’ But at the end of the day their love is just like everybody else’s love,” she explains.
“I believe in love—yes, I’m one of those girls,” she says. “Most of my friends believe in love. I went out with Katy Perry last night. She’s so fun and awesome, but it’s cool to see someone older believe in love too.
“She is all about it, and that’s how I will always be. I believe in stories like, ‘Oh, I met him in Starbucks.’”
The April issue of Harper’s hits newsstands on March 19. In the meantime, check out Selena’s photos and be sure to follow TheImproper on Twitter for more updates on Selena you can trust.
