Lil’ Wayne is good, better than good after his six-day hospital day.

Lil’ Wayne appears to have bounced back from a six-day hospital stay that triggered reports of a coma, last rites and a near death experience. But he’s good… in fact he’s “more than good,” he says in a video shout out to everyone that was praying for him.

“Kiss this fist; I’m more than good,” Weezy said in the clip, which he shot over to gossip site TMZ, which had him at death’s door from a reported drug overdose.

“I just want to say thank y’all for y’all prayers and concerns and all that. I swear to god I felt your prayers when I was laid up in the hospital bed,” he said, or words to that effect.

“I want ya’ll to know I’m good. N*gga more than good,” he added.

Wayne, real name Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., suffered a seizure, something he’s dealt with before, that sent him Cedars-Sinai Hospital last Tuesday (Mar. 12). He was released the next day, but readmitted later after he was found unconscious.

After that it was touch-and-go, with several reports claiming he had suffered a drug overdose, possibly involving cough medicine based codeine in a concoction known as Sizurrp. He spent most of his stay in the Intensive Care Unit.

But he was released on Monday (Mar 18) after being judged well enough to recuperate at home. In the video, he went to lengths to let everyone know he is regaining his health.

He also had the presence of mind to use the occasion to hype his “bum ass” album, I Am Not a Human Being II, which hits the streets March 26. The highly anticipated sequel to his eighth studio album, 2010’s I Am Not a Human Being, features Nicki Minaj, Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Drake, Juicy J, Soulja Boy and Future, among others.

Wayne also said he would hit the road to back up his album on July 5, the day after chowing down on barbecue to celebrate the Fourth of July.
