Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will be together again just like old times at the MTV Video Music Awards, but only in a new film clip from their upcoming movie, “Breaking Dawn, Part 2.”
Rob, however will be there in person to introduce the clip along with co-star Taylor Lautner. Stewart is a confirmed “no show.”
Other cast members, such as Ashley Greene, are also expected to appear live onstage at the event tomorrow (Aug. 6). They’ll all be on hand for the new “Breaking Dawn” trailer, which is supposed to run about a minute and a half.
Stewart can’t attend the awards show if she wanted to. She’ll be busy in Canada attending the opening night of the Toronto International Film Festival, where her latest movie “On the Road,” will debut.
Stewart, who has been laying low ever since her cheating scandal with “Snow White” Director Rupert Sanders went public in July, is contractually obligated to appear at the festival.
She’s appeared only briefly in public since her affair and hasn’t spoken to anyone publicly. Tabloids have been relying on so-called “sources” for stories, but it’s unlikely that any are accurate.
Rob has been on a promotional swing for his new movie “Cosmopolis,” and hit a number of talk shows to discuss the film. He spoke very little about Stewart or her affair.
