Brad Pitt Six Degrees of Sleazy in Interview Mag (photos!)

Brad Pitt Six Degrees of Sleazy in Interview Mag (photos!) 1Brad Pitt goes through six degrees of sleazy in a new photo spread for Interview magazine. He morphs into a Vegas hitman, a motorcycle motorhead, a psycho ex-serviceman, a greasy Latin gigolo and a stoned-out Rasta ganja man. Or stereotypes roughly along those lines.

It’s quite a juxtaposition as Pitt poses before the discerning camera of Steven Klein and then talks to UK Director Guy Ritchie about a gentler persuasion… raising kids.

Pitt, of course, famously has six with partner Angelina Jolie, which he says are now the focus of his life. Ritchie can relate.

The 44-year-old director has a son Rocco John Ritchie, 12, and adopted Malawian son David from his eight-year union with Madonna (2000-2008). And, he’s got one son, Rafael, 1, with model Jacqui Ainsley, who is pregnant with another.

Pitt says even his film choices these days are made with his kids in mind. “I want it to be worthy enough of a story to leave the family, you know? They’re everything,” he says. “The family is first.”

It’s hard to know if Angelina feels the same way. After all, how would she explain “The Tourist?” Or him “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford.”

Pitt gets defensive at the mention of the film. He says it remains one of his favorites. “You know it’s still labeled a loser. But then we always knew that one’s a fine-wine film. It’s gonna age well.”

His next project is crime thriller “Killing Them Softly,” which he notes is actually a business/political drama buried in a “low level” crime story. “The political discussion in America is very seldom about the issues; it’s often more about the perception of the issues,” he says.

“We’re at a particularly ugly time when we’re at such a divide in America, but that divide is not there because everyone is trying to figure out what’s best for the people, It’s there because one side is trying to win out over the other side,” he says.

The magazine’s format of celebrity interviewing celebrity often yields lots of boring, ego-stroking. But Pitt and Ritchie actually have an engaging conversation about film.
