Joss Whedon knows a horror story when he sees one, and his vision of the future under Mitt Romney will be a “very different world.” The famous director is all for it, Mitt…. Zomney, that is! Yikes, what does he mean by that?
Whedon, 48, is best known for his recent action/adventure flick, “Marvel’s The Avengers.” But before that he was a master of the otherworldly with films like “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Cabin in the Woods.”
So he knows what a true horror story Mitt will be if he’s elected. “It’s a very different world now, and Mitt Romney is a very different candidate; one with the vision and determination to cut through business-as-usual politics and finally put this country back on the path to the zombie apocalypse,” he says in a hilarious video released today (Oct. 28).
The mock political endorsement looks like it’s filmed in Whedon’s kitchen where he portrays the average American. He’s tidying up when the camera pans in.
“Romney is ready to make the deep rollbacks in health care, education, social services, reproductive rights that will guarantee poverty, unemployment, overpopulation, disease, rioting; all crucial elements in creating a nightmare zombie wasteland,” he says.
“But it’s his commitment to ungoverned corporate privilege that will nose dive this economy into true insolvency and chaos.”
The privileged one percent, he continues, will no longer be made up of the very richest, but of the most fleet of foot, the “very fast.”
He asks if we are ready for “the purity and courage of Mitt Romney’s apocalyptic vision?”
“Mitt’s Ready,” he says. “He’s not afraid to face a ravening, grasping horde of sub-humans because that’s how he sees poor people already.”

Footnote: Whedon is a strong supporter of President Obama, in case you haven’t figured that out.
