Robert Pattinson is joining Kristen Stewart as a fashion icon. He has reportedly been tapped to represent Christian Dior, marking a return to his modeling days before he became an actor.
Pattinson will appear in ad campaigns for the French fashion house’s line of men’s fragrances, according to E! Online.
“Rob likes the brand,” a source tells the gossip site. The deal puts Rob in the major leagues of fashion modeling. It’s estimated to be worth $12 million over three years.
He’s been spotted on the red carpet in several different Dior Homme suits. He wore a Dior tuxedo at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and Dior jeans at the Teen Choice Awards.

Rob will be joining Jude Law, Charlize Theron and Natalie Portman, among others as reps for the brand.
Kristen is the face for Balenciaga’s Florabotanica fragrance. A report in Huffington Post in August claimed that Stewart lost the account because of her affair with “Snow White” Director Rupert Sanders.
But Balenciaga Fashion Director Nicolas Ghesquière quickly shot down the story. As it turn out Stewart has a close relationship with the 41-year-old Frenchman.
Pattinson began modeling at 12, and said his early success was based on his androgynous looks. “When I first started I was quite tall and looked like a girl, so I got lots of jobs, because it was during that period where the androgynous look was cool,” he says of that time in his life.
“Then, I guess, I became too much of a guy, so I never got any more jobs. I had the most unsuccessful modelling career.” But it looks like his rugged good looks are paying off now.
