Catwoman will be vying for big-screen hottie honors with “The Avengers” slinky Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson. It’s unclear exactly what role Hataway’s character will play. but, whatever it is, she’ll make incredible eye candy in her tight, body-hugging suit.
“I love the costume because everything has a purpose,” the 29-year-old actress said in a recent interview. “Nothing is in place for fantasy’s sake, and that’s the case with everything in Christopher Nolan’s Gotham City.”
This Batman picture will be the darkest yet. Judging from the new posters, much of the action will take place in snow or a driving rain.
The posters also provide some clues as to Batman’s future. One bears the slogan “The Legend Ends?” But it’s meaning might not be what it seems.
The poster also contains a various of the “Knightsend” symbol, which was featured in the comic book series “Knightfall,” in which Bane breaks Batman’s back.
Other stars include Gary Oldman as Commissioner Jim Gordon, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake, and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate.
Reprising their roles will be Michael Caine as Alfred, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox. The movie will debut July 20.
