South African model Candice Swanepoel is best known for her work with Victoria’s Secret. But she’s got a secret of her own. She has a major sweet tooth, according to her recent spread in Vogue magazine’s Japan edition.
The leggy model poses against a candy-colored backdrop of bright blue, yellow and pink pastels, for photographer Terry Richardson. The spread will appear in the June issue.

Swanepoel wears a variety of campy summer outfits and strips down to a bikini in one shot. Vintage pop-art props give it an 80s flair.
The South African model has been working full-time since she was 16, after being discovered at a South African flea market. She’s been featured on covers for Vogue, ELLE, GQ, Harper’s Bazaar and has fronted in advertising campaigns for such brands as Nike, Diesel, Guess?, Tommy Hilfiger, Tom Ford and Versace.
At nearly 5’10” tall, Swanepoel has also walked fashion runways for a number of top brands including Tommy Hilfiger, Dolce and Gabbana, Fendi, Chanel, Betsey Johnson and Diane von Fürstenberg.
She started modeling for Victoria’s Secret in 2007 and has walked in its signature fashion show ever since. She was the featured model and covered the 2010 swim catalog, which is beginning to rival the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue in popularity.
In 2010, Swanepoel became part of the Victoria’s Secret Angel troupe. Check out her photos.
