“Twilight’s” Kristen Stewart swears like a sailor but dresses like a princess in Vanity Fair. Who is she trying to impress with all the tough talk?
It seems like the “Twilight” hottie is still trying to find herself after being immersed on-screen for the past four years as shy, introverted Bella Swan in the vampire series.
Both she and boyfriend Robert Pattinson want to do roles that are edgier and un-Twilight like. Kristen even does topless scenes in her new movie “On the Road.”

As she let’s it be known, she likes to be pretty, but not too pretty. “I have been criticized a lot for not looking perfect in every photograph,” she tells the magazine. “I get some serious shit about it,” says Stewart, whose latest picture “Snow White and the Huntsman,” just hit theaters.
“I’m not embarrassed about it. I’m proud of it. If I took perfect pictures all the time, the people standing in the room with me, or on the carpet, would think, What an actress! What a faker! That thought embarrasses me so much that I look like shit in half my photos, and I don’t give a fu*k,” she explains.
“What matters to me is that the people in the room leave and say, ‘She was cool. She had a good time. She was honest.’ I don’t care about the voracious, starving shit eaters who want to turn truth into shit. Not that you can say that in Vanity Fair!”
Ahem, apparently you can. The magazine makes no effort at censorship.
There’s no question she’s concerned about perception. Even her boyfriend says so. “People have decided how they are going to perceive her,” Robert Pattinson tells the magazine. “No matter how many times she smiles, they’ll put in the one picture where she’s not smiling.”
Despite all the talk about being honest, the magazine throws Kristen into a bunch of clothes that represent Paris couture. Fashion photographer Mario Testino handles the shoot.

And this confession: She didn’t shave her legs in sixth grade! Do any girls?
