Justin Bieber recorded a strange backstage video of himself before he went on to perform for more than 200,000 fans in Mexico City during a free concert last night (June 11). It was slightly disturbing.
Justin looked a little out of it and took a deep breath before as he started the 2:30 video. He addressed his fans directly.
“So I’m backstage here at my concert for this Mxico show. and, I don’t know it’s weird; I feel different,” he said. “I don’t know. I don’t really get nervous, or phased by it.
“I mean, I feel certain ways that I haven’t,” he continued. “At least 250,000 people here to watch me… have been waiting. I just never thought I could be loved this much.
“I just never thought so many people would want to hear my music.”
Just wore a grey sweatshirt, white jeans and fluorescent trainers in the video and appeared wearing the same thing on stages. As he ran around the stage at the opening of his show, you would never know he had expressed such mixed personal feelings.
He arrived at the stadium like a head of state in a caravan of SUVs escorted by a dozen police officers on motorcycles.
In an earlier news conference, he said he could think of no one he would stand in line for for days except Michael Jackson. “I would do it for him.
So, I do understand the emotion that the girls feel and that makes me feel very honored,” he said.
“A lot of emotions but just wanted to say I wouldnt be here without all of your support,” he said on his personal video. “Wanted you to know how I feel. Thanks for everything I hope you chase every dream as you are helping me live mine every day. thank you.”
