Justin Bieber invented another new way to showcase his “world” on the first part of his NBC special. He unveiled the “Justin Cam.”
It shows what he sees when he’s facing thousands of screaming fans. “That was pretty crazy!” Justin said. More like scary!
The teen sensation, who now has more than 23 million Twitter followers, is the undeniable star of the two part-special which showcases almost every facet of the singer’s professional life while on his “All Around the World” tour.

There was no hint of the short-tempered, sometimes imperious teenager, who started a scuffle with a photographer and recently bitched out fans who wanted a photo with him while he was waiting at the Toronto airport.
But it did show Justin’s crazy accident, where he knocked himself unconscious. It provided a rare look at his immense talent, his backstage rituals and it showed how hard he works. “I think he is one of the most hardworking artists in the world,” manager Scooter Braun.
He noted that Justin works 16-hour days with little time off. That seems about par, though, for artists on tour. Singers like Lady Gaga and Rihanna also maintain brutal schedules.
In the age of social media, fans are connected by Twitter, Facebook and Internet sites like this one. In many ways, he’s a product of the trend. After all, he’s YouTube’s first self-made sensation.
Now, social media is the only way for Justin to keep in touch with his fans. “Social media is his way of connecting to his peers,” explained Braun, adding that it’s almost impossible for him to go out in public.
“My fans, to me, mean the world. I try to be connected to them – I re-tweet and follow,” Justin added.
The special also provided a window into what it’s like to be a teen heartthrob. While filming, Justin touched off near riots in Oslo, Norway.
Hordes of girls descended his hotel overwhelming police security. Finally Justin moved to a secret location to quell the crowd.
In Mexico City, more than 300,000 people turned out for a concert.
“I’m guess I’m cool with being a heartthrob. I’m 18. Having a lot of girls liking me is not a bad thing.” Justin said. Amazingly, with all the attention he gets, he seems pretty devoted to girlfriend Selena Gomez, although not much was said about her.
In all, Justin performed in 19 cities and 7 countries in 12 days to make the special Part 2 airs tonight at 8pm on NBC.
