Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart had no sooner set up the Los Angeles house they shared when news broke about her affair with Snow White director Rupert Sanders. Now Rob is gone.
The “Twilight” hunk has packed his bags and moved out of their pad, likely heading back to England to sort out the mess, according to multiple reports.
Stewart, who is not known for public displays of affection, issued a humbling apology to her boyfriend of three years, but it apparently wasn’t enough to convince Rob to reconsider what she’s done.
“I’m not sure they’ll be able to recover from this,” a source told People. Pattinson “is heartbroken and angry,” says the source. Indeed the affair played out in the worst possible way.
Stewart and Sanders tried to keep their relationship secret but foolishly met in pubic when a photographer happened to be tailing Stewart hoping to get a photograph. What he got was an eyeful. He watched Stewart and Sanders embrace and kiss passionately.
Then, they moved to a more secluded spot for more passionate lovemaking, again, with the photographer in tow. Stewart was last seen dropping off the married father of two about three blocks from his house.
Pattinson only learned about the affair from his reps after they got a call from UsWeekly, which had obtained photos of Stewart’s liaison.
Now that Rob has moved out, the chances of them getting back are slim to none. If he stays in LA with a friend or moves into a hotel, there may be a glimmer of hope. If he heads back to England, nada. Once there’s a breach of trust, you can never go home again.
