Kristen Stewart’s Career Now Crumbling With Personal Life

“Twilight” hottie Kristen Stewart not only made a mess of her personal life, she’s now also starting to let her acting career go to hell. She’d be far better off separating the two.

Stewart, 22, is reportedly dropping out of her new film “Cali, and plans to be a no-show at her “On the Road” premiere in London next week. She apparently fears boos from fans and the cold shoulder from other actors.

But, hey, it’s Hollywood. Her affair with “Snow White and the Huntsman” Director Rupert Sanders was dumb, but her personal life should never interfere with her professional life. That was the problem with “Twilight.”

She and ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson became too entwined with their “Twilight” characters. Fans and the tabloid press put them on a pedestal that made her “locationship” will filming “Snow White” seem all the more grievous. But she’s not a vampire. She’s human and acted all too humanly.

Sure she could have handled it better and been upfront with Rob, and in the best of all possible worlds, she should have resisted Sanders advances. But at 22, her actions, while regrettable, are not the end of the world.

Ironically, her apparent decision to pull out of “Cali,” could be see the role go to actress, Amber Heard. What a joke if she gets the part. She’s a far bigger home wrecker than Stewart. She broke up Johnny Depp’s relationship with long-time partner Vanessa Paradis. Yet you don’t see her going to pieces.

As for her “On the Road” premiere, “Kristen won’t be doing the red carpet for ‘On The Road;’ she’s too ashamed to show her face in public right now,” a source told gossip site radaronline. “After everything that has been said, and in light of the revelations that she cheated on Robert with director Rupert Sanders, she’s running scared at the moment.”

Kristen also reportedly thinks it would be too awkward to be on the red carpet with co-star Tom Sturridge, one of Rob’s best friends. If so, let him stay home. She also thinks her presence will distract from the movie. Just the opposite, people will come out to see it because of her.

Stewart should keep her chin up, take her lumps and honor her professional obligations. Rob is certainly honoring his. If she ducks out them as some always sketchy reports claim, she’ll be considered unreliable, or worse, unstable. Hollywood doesn’t need another Lindsay Lohan.
