Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will be united, at least on the red carpet, for the premiere of Breaking Dawn, Part 2 this fall, according to a report from a not always reliable tabloid out of the UK. It seems like the gentlemanly thing to do.
Pattinson and Stewart reportedly have not seen each other since tabloids broke the news last month that Stewart was having an affair with “Snow White and the Huntsman” Director Rupert Sanders.
But Rob has reportedly told executives at Summit Entertainment, the studio behind the Twilight franchise, that he will be at Kristen’s side during the “Breaking Dawn, Part 2” premiere, according to London tabloid, The Sun.
Pattinson, 26, has already assured the studio that he will attend the Los Angeles opening of “Breaking Dawn Part 2” in November.
“He’s told movie bosses he’ll walk the red carpet to save her from embarrassment and any female fans booing her. He is being professional and taking the higher moral ground,” a source told the publication.
Pattinson has been making the rounds of talk shows in New York and Los Angeles to promote “Cosmopolis,” his latest picture with Director David Cronenberg. Kristen is expected to attend the Toronto Film Festival to promote her new film “On the Road.”
Whether The Sun story is true remains to be seen. But it sounds like something Rob would do. Other reports have claimed, however, that Rob wants to steer clear of Stewart. The studio is reportedly making plans to minimize their time together promoting the film.
