Justin Bieber reveals his personal secret to his successful relationship with girlfriend Selena Gomez, and it’s something anyone can do. “I’m just trying to make [Selena] happy,” he says in a new interview.
Justin and Selena have been an item for just over a year, and they seem really devoted to each other in public. “I think it’s important to make all women feel like they’re princesses, because every girl is a princess. I’m serious,” he tells Seventeen magazine.
Justin, of course, is also all about making a grand gesture to show his love, like renting out the Los Angeles Staples Center for a private dinner and viewing of one of the greatest love stories of all, James Cameron’s “Titanic,” with Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet.
Justin is trying to move beyond his teen heartthrob image, with the release of a more mature sound, reflected by his latest single, “Boyfriend” and his new album Believe.
“A lot of times, when artists grow older, they lose their younger fans because they’re just trying to get older fans. But if you try to make good music, then you’ll just appease everybody,” he said. “I just want to make music that’s good for everybody.”
In the end though, Justin still wants to remain true to himself. “I feel like it’s my responsibility to be the greatest I can be. If I start making terrible music, I don’t expect people to like me. If I’m making great music and there’s no reason for people to dislike me, that’s when it’s going to make me upset,” he explained in a separate interview.
“I mean, my whole album is so different and every song’s different on the album, and I think that what’s special about it is nothing sounds the same,” he told MTV.
