Lindsay Lohan has been trying to get her career back on track, but she may be jeopardizing her role in a Lifetime Television movie about Elizabeth Taylor. If so, it would be a sharp setback.
Lohan’s deal with Lifetime was reportedly premised on her ability to put all of the drama of the past few years behind her. But that apparently hasn’t happened.
Lohan is reportedly under investigation for allegedly assaulting a woman at a club in Los Angeles, and now RadarOnline.com reports that she still hasn’t signed the contract for the biopic.
The fact that the deal hasn’t been signed and sealed might not be all that significant, except for the fact that evidence is mounting the Lohan may have been involved in a new altercation, which she has vehemently denied.
Marisa Dugas claims Lohan assaulted her at the Standard Hotel in West Hollywood. Lohan insisted that she wasn’t at the hotel’s club that night. But she was reportedly seen there on security surveillance video on the night in question.
The Taylor movie was slated to begin next month in Canada.
“Lindsay is planning on signing the contract this week if all proceeds as scheduled. The major parts of the contract are in place and all that is needed now is signatures of Lindsay and the producers of the project,” a source told the gossip site.
Lohan reportedly was back at the Standard Hotel, where she allegedly had another altercation with a woman, who claims Lindsay threw a drink on her.
