Jennifer Lopez flashes her Union Jack in a racy performance on British TV.

Jennifer Lopez stunned viewers of UK television show “Britain’s Got Talent” when she performed last night wearing a skimpy black bodysuit that revealed much of her backside and barely covered her private parts. The show is supposed to be safe for “family viewing.”

But many viewers were outraged by her high-cut bodysuit, which also included a feather boa. Lopez topped it off with thigh-high hooker boots.

The UK government agency responsible for regulating content on British television confirmed that it had been inundated with complaints, according to London’s Daily Mail. But so far the agency has stopped short of an investigation. Without one, it’s unlikely to pose sanctions.

Lopez was actually wearing opaque pantyhose that prevented any skin from showing during her performance of “Live It Up.”

But they were nude colored and from the audience it was hard to tell if she was wearing anything other than her tiny bodysuit.

Her dance routine, which included lots of bootie shaking and hip-thrusting, was just as raunchy. At one point in the performance a male dancer stroked her butt cheek and thigh. Boyfriend Casper Smart has been choreographing her stage performances.

Rihanna Raunchy Brit Awards Show Riles UK (watch)

Many viewers took to Twitter to express their outrage.

“#BGT does #jenniferlopez realise its a family show – only thing missing was the pole – cover up your cheeks please!,” wrote one viewer.

“#JenniferLopez put some clothes on, #BGT is a family show, what sort of role model are you being for the young girls watching?,” wrote another.

Lopez isn’t the first artist to draw complaints for inappropriate performances. Rihanna also caused an uproar when she appeared on the show. Seems like the show’s producers should know better by know. But, then again, they probably love the publicity.
