Show host Andy Cohen was conducting a segment of the show where he asks rapid-fire questions during a 30-second period.
The first question out of his mouth was: What One Direction member would most likely be the first to come out as gay? George answered without hesitation “Louie,” an obvious reference to Louis Tomlinson.
“Who? Louie?” Cohen replied disbelief as if he wasn’t really expecting an answer.
“Louie,” George replied matter-of-factly.
Cohen obviously didn’t want to touch that one and stuck to the script. He went on to ask if Lindsay Lohan had been in touch with any of them while in rehab. The boys answer no.
“Who has slept with the most fans?” he asked next. The answer to that one seemed unanimous. The band members answered almost in unison “Max.” But he refused to say what other celebrities he’s hooked up with, although one of the boys ventured Taylor Swift.
But Max refused to confirm it.
One Direction’s Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Tomlinson were castoffs on Simon Cowell’s UK music show X-Factor. He put them together as a boy band and introduced them to the U.S. last year.
The Wanted boys, George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes, landed in the U.S. around the say time. They were formed by music entrepreneur Jayne Collins, who put together The Saturdays.
Since then, the two groups have been sniping at one another over social media and on talk shows. Tomlinson’s sexuality has been a previous target.
Parker suggest over Twitter that he was gay last year, even though Tomlinson has a steady girlfriend, model Eleanor Calder.
Tomlinson took the comments in stride at first, but has hit back at the Wanted lads because of the effect the comments were having on his relationship with Calder. “This is a subject that was funny at first, but now is actually hard to deal with in a relationship,” he said.
One of the rumors claimed he was in a relationship with Styles, who famously dated Swift.
