Pattinson, 27, went through what appeared to be an emotional breakup with his girlfriend of four years last month.
A grim-looking Rob was seen leaving Stewart’s Los Feliz home with a pickup truck load of his personal stuff, including his two dogs. Days later a moving van showed up and loaded more belongings.
Stewart, 23, has been seen out and about with friends and likely will be spending the summer close to home. She grew up in Los Angeles and her mom lives nearby.
Pattinson and Cronenberg will be filming “Maps to the Stars” in Toronto for much of July and August, according to Toronto newspapers. He’ll be joined by John Cusack and Julianne Moore.
Wasikowska, who also is 23, could be a hot match for Rob. She was born and raised in Australia, which is one of Rob’s favorite countries. Earlier this year he shot “The Rover” in Australia’s outback with Guy Pearce.
In “Maps to the Stars,” Evan Bird plays child star Benjie in a role that will mix humor and pathos. He’s surrounded by shallow, selfish celebrities and their hangers-on, while he suffers from a nasty drug habit.
Mia plays Agatha, Benjie’s “tormented and psychotic” sister, who is obsessed with celebrities. Olivia Williams plays the mother. The film also doubles as a ghost story.
In other new additions to the cast, Clara Pasieka, a Toronto-based actress, will play Gretchen and Justin Kelly will be playing Rhett.
Shooting on the Bruce Wagner screenplay will begin July 8 in Toronto. For the latest updates on Robert Pattinson follow TheImproper on Twitter.
