Woods crashed his SUV after a heated argument with his wife, igniting the scandal. In all more than a dozen women claimed to have had an affair with the golfer during his marriage.
Woods quit playing golf that December in a failed effort to repair his marriage, while several major sponsors canceled their deals with him. Woods had been the highest earning athlete for 11 consecutive years until tennis star Roger Federer aced him out of the No. 1 spot last year.
