Aaryn Gries a Big Brother contestant from Texas has an ugly racist side.

Aaryn Gries, a Texas university cutie currently appearing on CBS’s “Big Brother,” is another Paula Deen in the making. But don’t be too shocked by her shocking comments. The mindset is still ingrained in many parts of the nation.

Deen may have fobbed off her racist views on her upbringing way back when (because, you know, everybody did it) but Gries is fresh-faced and of the moment.

But put three “crackers” in a room and here’s what you’ll get: GinaMarie Zimmerman referring to welfare as “n**ger insurance;” Aaryn calling Andy Herren, a gay contestant, a “queer” and Spencer referring to Andy as “Kermit the F*g” … and praising Hitler as a gifted speaker, according to reports.

Here’s what CBS had to say: “‘Big Brother’ is a reality show about watching a group of people who have no privacy 24/7 — and seeing every moment of their lives. At times, the Houseguests reveal prejudices and other beliefs that we do not condone. We certainly find the statements made by several of the Houseguests on the live Internet feed to be offensive. Any views or opinions expressed in personal commentary by a Houseguest appearing on ‘Big Brother,’ either on any live feed from the House or during the broadcast, are those of the individual(s) speaking and do not represent the views or opinions of CBS or the producers of the program.”

Gries was also overheard telling an Asian-American housemate: “Shut up and go make some rice.”

The comments did not go out over the air, but were broadcast on the show’s live Internet feed.

The trio of housemates apparently don’t follow the headlines. Otherwise, they might have known there would be an uproar, not to mention consequences, for that kind of talk.

Deen’s racist comments exploded into an national scandal that has dominated the news for the past two weeks. The controversy decimated her empire of Food Network shows, cookbooks and product endorsements.

But Aaryn is already facing Deen-like repercussions. She has reportedly been dropped by her Texas-based modeling agency, Zephyr Talent, according to a statement delivered to TMZ.

So far, CBS has been left red-faced by the revelations, but isn’t accepting any responsibility for the houseguest’s actions.

“We certainly find the statements made by several of the houseguests on the live Internet feed to be offensive,” said the network in a statement. “At times, the houseguests reveal prejudices and other beliefs that we do not condone.”

And to think, they used to call CBS the “Tiffany Network” for the high quality of its programming. But these days it wallows in the same reality show swamp as the cable networks.
