The biopic co-stars James Franco, Hank Azaria, Adam Brody, Chris Noth, Chloe Sevigny and Juno Temple. A new trailer for the film was released this week.
Seyfried, 27, plays Lovelace, who became infamous for her portrayal of a sex starved woman in the movie “Deep Throat,” which revolutionized the adult film industry. It was one of the first adult films to have a clear plot and helped move porn closer to the mainstream. Check out the trailer here.

Amanda Seyfried Alluring in Red for Harper’s
She actually began working as a model before becoming an actress. The Allentown, Pa. native first posed when she was 15, and appeared in print ads for fashion brand Limited Too with “Gossip Girl” star Leighton Meester.
Amanda quit modeling at 17 to take up acting full-time and took voice lessons, studied opera, and trained with a Broadway coach. She got her star in daytime soaps. Her movie breakthrough came in 2003 when she starred opposite Lindsay Lohan and Rachel McAdams in “Mean Girls.”
She most recently starred as Cosette in the film adaptation of the musical, “Les Misérables.” The all-star cast included Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway and Eddie Redmayne.
