Anthony Weiner’s sexting pal Sydney Leathers is looking for a payday.

Anthony Weiner’s sex scandal has provided some dicey diversion during an uneventful New York City summer, keeping gossip mills churning from Hamptons’ beaches to Katz’s deli. But really, enough is enough. Megalomania is so uncool.

The pol doesn’t know the meaning of the word “quit.”

Under different circumstances that might be a good thing. But not when it stems from a psychopathological disorder.

At this point, the only person who thinks he can win the New York City Mayoral race is Anthony Weiner… and maybe his suffering wife Huma Abedin.

The numbers are already in; 53 percent of Democratic voters want him to drop out of the race; without them, he’s going nowhere. He’s dropped to fourth place among candidates seeking to replace outgoing Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

And, still the tawdry revelations keep coming.

His sexting partner Sydney Leathers is having a field day basking in the glow of her notoriety. She’s reporting angling for a porn career. She was spotted over the weekend with Steve Hirsch, head of adult film company Vivid Entertainment, according to TMZ.

Move over Kim Kardashian. The next thing you know, she’ll have a reality show. One thing is certain, though, as long as he’s around, she’ll be around.

Turns out, Weiner was just another John. He sent intimate pictures and engaged in phone sex. He declared his love and even offered to set her up in an apartment in Chicago.

Meanwhile, she was trolling for other “older men” on various websites and “scoring dates for dollars,” as she put it, according to Facebook messages unearthed by London’s Daily Mail.

The whole time, she was laughing at what she called her “super-pathetic” customers.

Of course, the kicker is Weiner struck up the latest sexting relationship after he was caught in a sexting scandal two years ago. That scandal cost him his congressional seat. What’s more, he promised not to do it again.

Sadly, the only thing keeping Weiner going is his own delusional fantasies of power, relevance and omnipotence. Otherwise, he’s just twisting slowly in the wind, totally discredited and disgraced.
