The model, Michael Girgenti, says he had unprotected sex with Kourtney in 2009 and Mason was born nine months later, according to court papers.
If the allegations are true, keeping up with the Kardashians will take on a whole new meaning. You’ll need a scorecard just to keep up with who’s sleeping with whom.
Girgenti says the tryst occurred while unmarried Kourtney and baby daddy Scott were going through one of their periodic spats. The lawsuit comes on the heels of new allegations that Khloe Kardashian’s husband, Lamar Odom, was having an affair with a fetching lawyer, Polina Polonsky.
Polonsky has taken a lie detector test and passed to prove she’s telling the truth, according to Star magazine.
Girgenti is suing to force Kourtney to DNA test her son, which he says will prove he’s the father. The first hearing in the case will take place in L.A. County Superior Court next month, according to gossip site TMZ.
He’s demanding joint-custody of the baby, which may or may not lead to demand for child support or a payoff for him to just go away. (There’s gotta be a payoff somewhere, right?)
So far, the Kardashians has stonewalled Girgenti. He says the refused to discuss the matter with him, so now he’s trying to force their hand. Could it also be that the three-year statute of limitations is about up?
Kardashian’s lawyer, Shawn Holly, who has also represented other troubled stars, like Lindsay Lohan, has called the allegations “false and defamatory.”
Paternity suits against celebrities are not all that unusual, but usually a woman is suing a man. Justin Bieber was sued after a woman alleged that a backstage tryst led to her pregnancy. The case has never been resolved.
In any event, sounds like a great episode for “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” the family’s reality television show. On second thought… nah.
