Miley Cyrus lands on the cover of the Rolling Stone Hot Issue.

Miley Cyrus was the hands down performer to cover Rolling Stone’s annual hot issue. Was there anyone else? No one has been talked about more this year, and well, she’s hot as hell in a mostly topless photo spread. Move over Rihanna.

Miley, 20, has all but knocked the Barbadian singer from her perch as the hottest woman in music with her MTV Video Music Awards performance and “Wrecking Ball” video.

But now it’s official.

Covering the magazine’s hot issue puts her in rarefied company that includes a topless (of course) Britney Spears in 2003 and 2006, Lindsay Lohan in 2004 and Lady Gaga fully nude.

The cover hasn’t gone exclusively to women. Hick-Hopper Kid Rock anchored the issue in 2007, followed by Michael J. Fox and Bon Jovi. according to the magazine.

Here’s what she had to say about her controversial MTV Video Music Awards performance: “Now people expect me to come out and twerk with my tongue out all the time. I’ll probably never do that sh–t again,” she says.

“I wasn’t trying to be sexy. If I was trying to be sexy, I could have been sexy. I can dance a lot better than I was dancing,” she added.

And here’s a revelation; she says Kanye West gave her the courage to go out and do the VMA act. “He came in and goes, ‘There are not a lot of artists I believe in more than you right now,'” she recalls. “The whole room went quiet. I was like, ‘Yo – can you say that again?!'”

“Kanye is the sh–t.”

She also snaps back at her critics.

“No one is talking about the man behind the ass,” she explains. “It was a lot of ‘Miley Twerks on Robin Thicke,’ but never, ‘Robin Thicke Grinds Up on Miley.’ So obviously there’s a double standard.”

Miley also pays homage to the magazine with new tattoos on, of all places, the bottom of her feet. They read “Rolling” and “$tone.”

She’s definitely in the money. Check out her photos, read more in Rolling Stone and follow TheImproper on Twitter for the latest Miley Cyrus updates you can trust.
