Fey will be returning to host the show she left in 2006 to create the NBC hit “30 Rock,” a show about creating an SNL-type variety show.
The 43-year-old comedian leaves nothing untouched including her own Emmy faux pas.
She and SNL regular Kenan Thompson run through a series of short promo spots in the 1:42 clip, beginning with a welcome back.
Tina announces that she’ll be hosting the show’s premiere for its 39th season. “W’re so happy you’re back Tina,” says Kenan.
“Awe, thanks Kenan, but it doesn’t fell good to be back…it feels great!” she shouts.
They do riffs on the season finale of “Breaking Bad,” and promise to be over in time for viewers to watch the finale. The show airs after SNL, “like 18-hours after,” notes Kenan.
There’s even a reference to Miley Cyrus’s foam finger, the one she made infamous on the MTV Video Music Awards.
The musical guest is Arcade Fire. Check out the clip below and be sure to follow TheImproper on Twitter for all the latest SNL updates.
