Justin Timberlake TKO Video Eerily Like Brutal 1998 Murder (watch)

Riley Keough has murder on her mind in a new video for Justin Timberlake’s TKO.

Justin Timberlake goes for a ride–the hard way–in the new video for his latest single “TKO.” Riley Keough, granddaughter of Elvis Presley, is behind the wheel of a pickup; Justin is in back being dragged by a rope.

If the scene is a disturbing that’s because it’s eerily similar to the 1998 murder of James Byrd, Jr. in Jasper, Texas.

Two white supremacists and a third man dragged Byrd alive behind a pickup truck for more than three miles. He died when he struck a culvert, severing his arm and head.

That grisly fact aside, the seven-minute video, directed by Ryan Reichenfeld, is about a love spat that gets out of control. Keough and Timberlake play two hip lovers living in a sleek apartment who become terminally bored with each other.

Half the video shows them in the apartment and the other half shows the disturbing image of Timberlake, 32, being dragged behind the truck. Keough, 24, is behind the wheel.

She seems pretty cold-blooded about it all, smacking him in the back of the head with a frying pan, and then casually eating a french fry, before hitching him up.

The two white supremacists received death sentences for Byrd’s murder and the third may received life in prison. Making a video that mimics a brutal murder should also be a crime.

The song is he second single off Justin’s fourth studio album, The 20/20 Experience (2 of 2). It’s in stores now.
