Times Square, the center of the entertainment universe, will ring in New Year’s Eve in traditional fashion with the dropping of a crystal ball at midnight followed by a spectacular fireworks display and you can watch it all on live feed here.

More than 1 million people are expected to fill the square to capacity for the festivities.

New York City, home of TheImproper.com , has traditionally be one of the best places in the world to ring in the New Year, and this celebration is no different.

For 109 years, Times Square has been the center of worldwide attention on New Year’s Eve, according to timessquarenyc, the official website.

Roof top celebrations began in 1904 at the landmark One Times Square building. The ball dropped for the first time in 1907 to mark the change in the calendar.

The official event lineup features live performances by Miley Cyrus, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Blondie, Icona Pop, Jencarlos Canela, El Dasa and Rodney Atkins.

Melissa Etheridge will perform her new song, “Uprising of Love,” and a rendition of John Lennon’s classic, “Imagine,” according to the site.

The celebration will also feature an exclusive trailer of “The Amazing Spider-Man 2™, featuring Times Square footage.

Among other highlights, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will peform live around 10:30 pm on ABC’s “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.”

Cyrus will perform a medley of her hits starting around 11:39 p.m. through 11:45 p.m. She’ll include “#GetItRight” and “Wrecking Ball.”

Etheridge’s special performance begins at 11:52 p.m. until one minute before the witching hour.
