Lady Gaga is putting her usually gratuitous nudity to work as the face (and body) of Versace’s Spring 2014 campaign. She appears in a stunning series of topless photographs to promote the Italian brand’s clothes and accessories.

The images were released today (Jan. 2). Versace Vice President Donatella Versace had announced their relationship earlier.

Gaga chose Versace last year to outfit her for her “ArtPop Tour” in support of her latest album and her appearance on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.”

“Thank u to @versace for the beautiful custom costumes they designed for all my performances on the show! #SNLVersaceGaga am I dreaming?” she tweeted after the show in November.

Gaga also includes a track on her album entitled “Donatella,” a tribute to the fashion designer.

“What do you wanna wear this spring?
What do you think is the new thing?”
she sings.

Donatella was equally effusive after Gaga was tapped to represent the brand.

“She is like family to me, the embodiment of the Versace DNA,” said the fashion mogul, in a recent interview in Great Britain. “I wanted to capture her true beauty and spirit in images that are elegant and alluring.”

Gaga is nothing if not alluring and exotic in the images, captured by renowned fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot.

Through the magic of make-up, wigs and what looks like no small amount of digital manipulation, Gaga looks like a younger version of the 58-year-old fashion maven. She has the same lean face and long blonde hair.

In fact, in one photo, Gaga uses her long blonde hair to shield the private parts of her ample bare breasts. In another photo she hides behind one of the line’s handbags.
