Justin Bieber pal Lil’ Za is already crying racial discrmination to explain his bust for felony drug possession during a raid on Bieber’s California manison on Tuesday (Jan. 14). But it just doesn’t add up.

Za, 20, real name Xavier Dominique Smith, was at the house when police swept in under a search warrant and found drugs on a table in plain sight.

The next thing you know Za was being led away in handcuffs, while Bieber was not arrested, even though the suspected narcotics were found in his house.

There can be only one reason for that, Za owned up to owning the drugs. Either he was being honest or covering for Bieber. Either way it’s hard to see how skin color came into play.

Za was arrested on a felony drug charge and was later hit with a felony vandalism charge for smashing a jail phone. He’s out on bail.

The rapper finally spoke out over Twitter today (Jan. 16) about the arrest and lashed out at the media and the police.

“Honestly, the media is making me someone I’m not. But only those in my shoes can relate… These ppl get paid to make you look bad,” he wrote about the reams of coverage the story has generated.

“Some stuff I’ve done has been wrong yes. But look at the position I’m in and the color of my skin. Cocaine? Really?”

Initial reports said the drug seized in the house was the white powdery substance. But police later clarified that that drug is now suspected to be Ecstasy, the street name for MDMA. The chemical that produces mild euphoria and some hallucinatory effects.

Despite hanging out with Bieber extensively and even living at his house, Smith apparently doesn’t understand the dynamic between celebrities and paparazzi.

“All this time I was home in tx nobody gave a f*ck about what Za is doing… soon as he gets to La he’s all over the news,” he wrote.
