Kim, 33, has wanted desperately to get in the magazine to validate her own fashion credibility.
Even Kanye West has been lobbying Editor Anna Wintour, whom he counts as a personal friend.
Anna not only bypassed Kim for Kendall, but the magazine also delivers a pointed jab at all three Kardashian sisters: Kim, Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian.
At the same time, the Magazine lays its hands on Kendall with a blessing that virtually guarantees a skyrocket to super-stardom.
“[The] Sister of Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney is on the verge of It girl–dom in a way that her more famous sisters blew right past in their prolifically documented and methodically unorthodox quest for world domination.”
Other models who have received the Vogue seal of approval like Anja Rubik, Karlie Kloss and Edie Campbell, have seen their careers skyrocket as well.
Kendall can expect to be regularly featured in the magazine. As for Kim, the message seems clear. Sorry Charlie.
Check out Kendall’s Vogue photos, shot earlier this week by photographer Jeff Henrikson at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. The selfie theme also seems to be a shot at Kim, who is forever taking photos of herself.
Kendall wears Oscar de la Renta, Vera Wang, and Marc Jacobs who featured her in his New York Fashion Week Show. Kendall caused a storm by giving a peek at her breasts on the runway.
