Model Marisa Miller is known for her work with Victoria’s Secret and other brands but when it comes to fronting for video game Guitar Hero, she’s apparently just too sexy for its audiences of hormone-charged teen boys.
A commercial of Miller playing the game in a television ad based on Tom Cruise’s movie, “Risky Business” was deemed too hot to use. So it was shelved by RedOctane and Harmonix Music Systems, which make the game, and Activision, which distributes it.
A similar commercial featuring model Heidi Klum did make it on the air, but she wore a man’s shirt. Marisa is wearing far less, lingerie and a bra and panties.
In January the sexy supermodel was reportedly relieved of her duties with Victoria’s Secret, with “sources” confirming the rumor to the New York Post’s Page Six gossip column.
But Ed Razek, Victoria’s Secret’s president and chief marketing officer, quickly issued a statement denying the reports.
“We adore Marisa and we will continue to work with her in the future,” he said.
As if to reinforce his support, some sexy new shots of Miller modeling the brand’s iconic lingerie surfaced on the Internet, and Miller looked better than ever. Miller also looked stunning in Victoria’s Secret recent campaign for “Love Rocks.”
Marisa also recently placed second, behind actress Emmanuelle Chriqui as the most desirable celebrity woman, in a poll by AskMen.com.
Miller topped actress Kate Beckinsale, who finished third and other beauties such as Alessandra Ambrosio, Jessica Alba, Beyonce, Penelope Cruz, Cheryl Cole, Eva Mendes and Miranda Kerr.
