Natalie Portman's Elegant New York Times Strip (video, Photos) 1Natalie Portman is quickly becoming the symbol of elegant sexuality, from her flowing lines and engaging sex scene in the “Black Swan” to her latest outing for The New York Times magazine.

It should come as no surprise that Dior tapped her to represent its Miss Dior Cherie perfume.

Now, Natalie will not only be gracing the big screen, but starting in March, she’ll be in countless magazine ads by Tim Walker and a commercial helmed by film director Sofia Coppola.

Based on Sofia’s other work for Dior, the ad will charming, endearing and girly, according to stylebistro.

This is also Portman’s first foray into the luxury beauty market, and Dior definitely landed her on the way up.

Natalie displays just the right amount of insouciance about beauty.

“I’m pretty casual in my beauty routine in my real life, some might say sloppy,” she says with self-effacing modesty.

In The New York Times feature, Portman slowly undresses, shedding a black formal gown and gloves until she is just wearing a silk chemise and a fetishy garter belt.

The video is one of 14, all involving actors, well, acting, according to the magazine, which has just published its Hollywood issue.

Each is without dialogue and set to classical music.

Solve Sundsbo directed the videos, each about a minute long. The entire work is entitled “14 Actors Acting.”

Also filmed are James Franco, kissing himself; Jesse Eisenberg, shooting a pistol and Matt Damon, screaming.
