Elisabetta Canalis vaulted to international fame largely as George Clooney’s hot girlfriend, but she had budding career in Italy as a model, actress and television host before that, and thankfully she’s continued working.
Canalis, 32, shows off the body that caught Clooney’s eye in a new ad campaign for Roberto Cavalli.
Shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the photos show Canalis wearing matching tiger print underwear.
“For my new underwear collection I chose Elisabetta again, my ideal of a woman: charm, charisma and sensuality, united together,” said the Italian designer.
“Elisabetta Canalis and I have been friends for a while now, we’ve worked together in the past and once again during this shoot she was perfect in enhancing the spirit of this advertising campaign,” he added in a statement.
“With her Mediterranean beauty and intense gaze she’s interpreted an intriguing and super-feminine woman.”
Canalis has been dating Clooney, 49, for more than a year, which must be a record for the confirmed bachelor.
They met at a society party in Italy, where George lives for part of the year in a villa near Lake Como.
Although Canalis is known for her physical beauty, she also possesses brains.
She was educated at a “Classical Lyceum” Italian school in Sassari, and then moved to Milan to attend university.
