Model Lindsay Ellingson is a four-year veteran of Victoria’s Secret, but with a number of superstar angels off having babies, she’s finally getting a chance to go solo in a new advertising campaign.
Ellingson, 24, recently filmed her first solo single campaign and the lingerie fashion house just released a behind-the-scenes video of her shoot for a new line of bras called “Gorgeous.”
“It’s such an honor to be the face of Gorgeous; I mean, the bra is so gorgeous itself. I’ve had a lot of fun today, and I’m just so, so happy,” she said in a statement.
Director Michael Bay shot he television commercial in Hollywood, although the theme is definitely Paris in the early 1960s.
“It’s all about that 1960s Brigitte Bardot kind of attitude, which I love. Anytime someone says we’re channelling 1960s, I love it,” she said.
“Michael… gives you an outline of what to do, and you have to fill in the blanks,” she said of the well-known director who has helmed such films as “Armageddon,” “Pearl Harbor” and the” Transformers” series.
In fact, Bay cast Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as lead actress in “Transformers 3,” after his bitter split with actress Megan Fox.
The push-up style bra, which launched yesterday (Mar. 28) retails from $48 and can be worn four different ways: halternack, low-back and with and without straps.
Ellingson, who was born in San Diego, shared duties with Emanuela de Paula, Alessandra Ambrosio and Marisa Miller as the spokeswomen for “Body by Victoria” another Victoria’s Secret product line.
She was also a featured model in the 2010 Victoria’s Secret “SWIM” catalog.
She is currently listed as one of the brand’s 13 “supermodels” and this year, she became one of the signature Angels, as well as the face of its perfume line VS Attractions.
