In an industry flooded with blonde, porcelain-skinned models, Ginta still manages to stand out.

The 22-year-old Latvian beauty poses for photographer Greg Kadel for the French fashion magazine, wearing designs by Sportmax, Burberry Prorsum, Versace and Blumarine among others.

Charles Varenne styles Ginta in the colorful designs with makeup by Mariel Barrera and hair by Franco Gobbi.

The 5-foot, 10-inch, blue-eyed  blonde was born in Riga, Latvia, and began her modeling career in 2005 at the tender age of 15.

Like so many models, she was spotted on a street in the Latvian capital by Nils Raumanis, the founder of DANDY model management.

She joined MC2 Model Management in New York and debuted at New York Fashion Week for the Spring 2008 shows, walking for Benjamin Cho.

Since then, she’s done the full circuit in Milan, Paris and London, repping labels such as Anna Sui, Nina Ricci, Marc Jacobs and Dolce & Gabbana.

She’s also worked for Rodarte, Proenza Schouler, Vivienne Westwood, Miu Miu, Yves Saint Laurent, Carolina Herrera, Bottega Veneta, Versace, Valentino and Louis Vuitton.

While most of her editorial work has been overseas, she has appeared in Harper’s Bazaar and U.S. Vogue.

Her breakthrough came in 2010 when she was chosen to rep Yves Saint Laurent’s cosmetic line. The campaign shot by photographer Terry Richardson, made her a hallmark for the French brand and brought her international attention.

She started modeling for Victoria’s Secret last year and was ranked 29th on models.com list of Top Fifty Models. Her biggest advantage may be her versatility. With classic beauty and wide eyes, she easily moves from chic sophistication to girlishly cute.
