Miranda Kerr is the latest to channel former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy in a new photo spread for Harper’s Bazaar. The Australian model does a credible job of capturing Jackie’s ’50s elegance.
Kerr, who is married to British actor Orlando Bloom, wore ’50s inspired fashions in a spread entitled “Flirty Fifties,” Terry Richardson was behind the lens in the Brooklyn, NY shoot.
Although Richardson, 46, likes to stay behind the scenes, the paparazzi have been training their cameras on him lately after he reportedly spent a night of passion with one of his frequent subjects, Lindsay Lohan.
After husband President John F. Kennedy was assassinated, Jackie returned to New York City where she worked as an editor. She later married Greek shipping magnate Aristotle Onassis and became known as Jackie O. She was a style and fashion icon for most of her life.
In one telling shot, Miranda wears Jackie’s trademark black cocktail dress with a string of pearls. She wears a see-through black lace dress in another shot, exposing her black bra. The outfit may not have passed muster with the First Lady.
Kerr has been working steadily since giving birth to her son, Flynn, last January. She was back in a bikini three months later. She was featured in the latest Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, wearing the show’s centerpiece, a $3.1 million jewel encrusted bra.
She most recently worked the catwalk in Paris. Check out her photos!
