Josephine Skriver really arrived in modeling with the Spring/Summer 2012 season. She was everywhere on the runways and makes a style statement in the latest issue of Wonderland magazine in what can only be called trailer trash chic.
Photographer Mark Kean captured her in colorful, layered ensembles by Christopher Kane, Balenciaga, Miu Miu and Dolce & Gabbana.
Julia Sarr Jamois handled styling while Panos gave her ’80s-style big hair and make up artist Lucy Burt gave Josephine hints of decadence around the eyes and highlighted her full lips.

The 19-year-old Danish model lives out of a suitcase these days. She was discovered at 15 in her hometown of Copenhagen. “I had thought about modeling for a while. A friend of my aunt’s contacted Unique [agency], because she thought I had potential,” she said.
She debuted in New York at the fall Ruffian show in 2008. She also walked for Calvin Klein, Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti, Rag & Bone, and 3.1 Phillip Lim.
Her big breakthrough came just last year when she closed for the fall Prada show and opened for the fall Alberta Ferretti show in Milan.
For Spring/Summer 2012, she walked in shows for Versus, Versace, Emilio Pucci, Mugler, Nina Ricci and Alexander McQueen to name a few. During her short but rising career the 5’9″ beauty has become known for her blue-eyed stare, enviable cheekbones and killer pout.
Skriver, who turns 19 this month (Apr. 14) spends most of her time in New York these days modeling full-time.
