Sarah Hyland Trades Modern Family for Old Hollywood Glam (11 photos!)

SaraHyland-Glamoholic-frontSarah Hyland broke into acting at 5 and played such roles as Brooke Shields’ daughter, Maddie Healy, in the short-lived NBC drama “Lipstick Jungle.” But she’s old enough now to wear lipstick and does so in stunning fashion in Glamoholic magazine.

The 22-year-old actress, who now plays Haley Dunphy on the award-winning ABC sitcom “Modern Family,” glams up in tribute to Hollywood sex sirens.

In one shot with her hair up she captures the spirit of Audrey Hepburn in a long black tulle and beaded ball gown by Toujouri. In other shots she channels a young Claudia Cardinale or Jean Shrimpton.

In fact she played Hepburn as an 8-year-old in the 1998 television movie “The Audrey Hepburn Story.”

She also wears gowns by Temperley London, Anaikka and Catherine Malandrino, as well as a sexy neon and leather mini-dress by Izmaylova.

She has two films in the works this year, comedy “Struck by Lightning” and “Gay Dude.” In the first she plays opposite Glee’s Chris Colfer and comedian Rebel Wilson.

“It was an amazing experience; Rebel is one of the funniest human beings I have ever met,” Hyland said about filming the picture. “Out of all the amazing comedic actors I have worked with over my career, Rebel was the hardest person to work with purely because you couldn’t keep a straight face.”

In “Gay Dude,” another comedy film directed by Chris Nelson, she plays opposite Hunter Cope and Nicholas Braun. The film is about two guys determined to lose their virginity before their senior prom. It’s a head-to-head competition until one admits he’s gay.

Although she says she’s a laid-back girl, she has no problem pulling off glamour. Check out her photos and click here to follow TheImproper on Twitter for all of the latest fashion updates.
