Veteran model Carolyn Murphy teams up with actor Matthias Schoenaerts and renown fashion photographer Mario Testino to luxuriate on Italy’s Tuscon coast for Vogue magazine. She dazzles at 37, taut and toned.
Murphy combines European sophistication with the edginess of a Fellini film to create a look that suggests luxury without trying.
Belgian actor Schoenaerts is best known in America for his role as Ali in 2012’s romantic drama “Rust and Bone,” which has garnered nominations from the Screen Actor’s Guild and the Golden Globes.
They started their trek at the Il Pellicano hotel, noted for its “barefoot luxury,” and guests like Giovanni Agnelli

Pathways, gardens and discrete corners connect the central building to the cottages with their large rooms, windows and terraces, and where the line between indoors and outdoors is blurred, according to the hotel’s website.
Murphy, 37, who broke into modeling as a 16-year-old, starts her exploration wearing Charlie by Matthew Zink shorts with white piping, a Celine scarf and nothing else. She overlooks the Tyrrhenian Sea as bold and exhilarating as the view itself.
The pounding Mediterranean surf is the backdrop for another bold statement in monochrome. She wears a black blazer with black-and-white patterned top and pants by Celine. She tops off the look with black Manolo Blahnik heels.
Murphy has worked for a variety of brands, including Calvin Klein and Estee Lauder. Most recently, she was hired in July to replace Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as host for the second full-season “Project Runway All Stars on Lifetime.”
Last year, Murphy was listed 9th on the Forbes top-earning models list, with an estimated income of $3.5 million.
