Justin Theroux Reveals What Jennifer Aniston Loves About Him

Justin Theroux has one thing to ask; don’t call him Mr. Jennifer Aniston.

Justin Theroux is caught between a rock and a hard place. Just as his career was taking off he started dating one of the most recognizable women in the world. Now one of his biggest problems is trying to avoid becoming Mr. Jennifer Aniston.

“It’s a bit like going to a slightly different altitude, you know?” he tells GQ magazine. He’s their October cover boy.

He says the paparazzi are one of the downsides. “I call them photojournalists, actually,” he says. And then there are the times when “I get complimented on the street because I’m having twins.”

Indeed, Aniston has been tabloid fodder ever since her days on the sit-com “Friends,” which ran on NBC from 1994 to 2004. Stories about her being pregnant and having twins has been recycled endlessly.

Aniston’s love life has also been the subject of much speculation ever since her marriage to Brad Pitt ended in 2005. She’s been around the block a few times–Vince Vaughn and John Mayer to name two– but Theroux, 42, seems to be the real deal.

What makes them a match? For one thing, he’s terrible at sports. “That’s one of the things Jen loves about me,” he tells the magazine.

The other thing is chickens. Their newly acquired Bel Air mansion has a chicken coup with chickens. “We inherited the chickens from the previous owners,” he reveals.

“They were like, ‘Of course we’ll get rid of the chickens,’ and we said, ‘Are you crazy? Don’t get rid of the chickens. That’s half the reason we wanted this place.’”

Now here’s the one thing that Jen doesn’t care for. Justin collects medical oddities like an antique glass syringe, a huge plastic ear marked with reflexology pressure points and a candy dish of human teeth from a friendly dentist.

“I have these beautiful wax-museum pieces—handmade, from the 1800s—from a museum of curiosities,” he adds. They’re just these open mouths, with tongues, and in the throats are different stages, labeled, of syphilis and gonorrhea and whatever.”

Jen, he reveals, drew the line on gonorrhea. Now they’re conversation pieces in his LA office.
