Katniss and Peeta are feeling the sexual tension as they go on their Hunger Games victory tour.

Katniss and Peeta are the only couple to ever survive the Hunger Games together and the sexual tension between them is the subject of a new television spot as “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” gears up to hits theaters this weekend.

Jennifer Lawrence plays Katniss and Josh Hutcherson reprises his role as Peeta Mellark in the second part of the Hunger Games trilogy.

In the new movie, Katniss and Peeta start a victory tour together after winning the games. But they face their biggest challenge yet, when they are thrust back into the arena for the so-called “Quarter Quell,” celebrating the 25th anniversary of the games.

The minute-long spot opens with Katniss leaving her District 12 home and love interest Gale Hawthorne (Liam Hemsworth) for the Capitol to begin her victory tour with Peeta. Their appearances together create the impression they are a couple in real life–sort of like Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

Peeta wants to bring the two worlds together. “Katniss, we can’t go on acting for the cameras and then just ignoring each other in real life,” he implores her.

Katiness just returns a sullen stare, before the video cuts to a new scene of the couple being celebrated along with President Coriolanus Snow (Donald Sutherland).

The pomp and circumstance of their public life is overwhelming her, as Katniss struggles with quiet desperation as she realizes all is not well in the land.

Check out the video below and get ready for the movie to splash down on Nov. 22. It’s expected to be one of the year’s major blockbusters. For all the latest developments, follow TheImproper on twitter.
