Rosie Huntington-Whitley, who broke out of the ranks of runway models to star opposite Shia LeBouf in the latest Transformers movie, is back doing fashion shoots and looking hotter than ever for Complex magazine.
Huntington-Whiteley, 24, is getting ready to hit the road to promote her big-screen debut in “Transformers: Dark Of The Moon.”
The movie, the third in the series, comes out in July, and it’s expected to be one of the summer’s biggest blockbusters.
The model was plucked from her high-profile modeling job after Megan Fox, who starred in the previous two movies, either quit or was fired after a dispute with Director Michael Bay.

Bay hand-picked Huntington-Whitley, in a move that was not without some controversy. Megan’s role as Mikaela Banes was largely thought to be arm candy for LeBouf’s character.
“We shot a commercial in 2009 for Victoria’s Secret, that’s where we met,” says Rosie.
Then he sent me an email last summer. He said, ‘I’d like to put you on tape for this role for Transformers,'”
“I figured it was going to be a small role, or an extra. I didn’t jump on the idea, but I believe you should always take a meeting, so I went to the casting and went on tape.
“A couple days later, Michael sent me a message saying, ‘We want you for the female lead, is that something you’d consider?’
“I met Shia that evening, then a week later I was doing a screen test, and two weeks after that I was doing my first scene,” she added.
“So it happened really, really quick,” she says.
Huntington-Whiteley is quick to point out that there is a big difference between Rosie the model and Rosie the normal girl.
“The model is probably perceived as glamorous, poised and elegant. But anyone who knows me will tell you I am everything but those things,” says the native of rural Tavistock, Devon in the UK.
