Jennifer Aniston Manhandles Paul Rudd in GQ Mag (photos!) 1Jennifer Aniston and Paul Rudd, who co-star in the new comedy “Wanderlust,” act like an old married couple in the latest issue of GQ magazine. They squabble about marriage, death, and Jen’s (imaginary) quadruplets.

They’ve known each other forever, so they play the part well. Jen first met Paul before she landed her gig on the hit show “Friends.”

They co-starred in the 1998 movie “The Object of My Affection” and Rudd quips that Jen has been paired on-screen with nearly every funny-man in town. “After a while, you just run out.” he tells the magazine.

“The first time I saw Paul Rudd was from a distance. I was living in Laurel Canyon, and my friend, who’s now my producing partner, Kristin Hahn, lived in a house across the way. And Paul came to pick her up on a first date,” Jen explains.

Although the interview was supposed to be about their movie together, Jen can’t seem to get off the subject of death. She explains that she just got a new dog and has had three others that died. Their ashes, she reveals, are on the mantle in her living room.

“The whole mantel is dead dogs. Their ashes. It’s kind of morbid,” she says.

“Morbid would be the way that I first imagined it, with three dogs stuffed on your mantel,” Rudd replies.

“Don’t think I didn’t think about it! Or hold his little paw and think, Would it be weird if I turned this into a key chain?”

Ewww! But Jen quickly adds: “No! It’s horrible! A terrible thing!”

The conversation eventually shifts to constant tabloid reports about Jen’s life and the many rumors that prove to be untrue.

“The tabloids, instead of being about alien babies and stuff, it’s my triplets, quadruplets, marriages, feuds…” she says.

Jen wants to set the record straight: “I’m not having triplets. Not having twins. Nor am I having one baby. [lifts up sweater and gestures to belly; it appears flat] I did not elope,” she says.

As for a recent story that she is expecting twins, Aniston can only attribute it to her decision to quit smoking. “Well, I recently quit smoking, and you do put on some extra pounds. It makes a difference, especially if you’re not 20. I think people maybe want me to have a kid now.

“The one time I do say, “Yes! I’m pregnant!” they’ll be like, “Pfft. Right.” Anyway, I’m drawing the line on the children conversation. You heard it here. I’m not knocked up now,” she says.
