Jessica Chastain’s stellar turns in last year’s Oscar nominated movies “The Help” and “The Tree of Life” makes her the perfect starlet to channel old-school Hollywood sexiness in Vogue Italia.
Chastain brings a classice Hollywood style to the shoot, captured by photographer Michelangelo di Battista in spring fashions by Dolce & Gabbana, Blumarine, Marc Jacobs and Prada.
Fashion editor Alice Gentilucci styled the shoot, with Jessica in multi-colored prints and high gloss ’50s style dresses.
How Chastain found time for a photo shoot is a mystery.

She’s one of the most in-demand women in Hollywood, with two films coming out this year and another in production. This fall, she’ll head to Broadway to star in The Heiress.
The play is based on Henry James’ novel “Washington Square,” about a young, rather plain woman, whose rich father drives off her lover. Because he is so handsome, the father, to be played by David Strathairn, suspects that he is out for her money.
The Oscar-nominated actress used a break in shooting on her new thriller “Zero Dark Thirty,” Kathryn Bigelow’s film about the hunt for Osama Bin Laden, to visit the Taj Mahal in India.
Her film “Lawless,” about three brother bootleggers during Prohibition, with Shia LaBeouf, Tom Hardy, Jessica Chastain, Guy Pearce, Gary Oldman and Mia Wasikowska opens in August.
