Kristen Hager is being introduced to American audiences in Being Human.

Kristen Hager spends a lot of time with ghosts and vampires on the set of the Syfy television show “Being Human,” but when she kicks back at home she’s all flesh and blood, wearing in little or nothing.

Hager is the latest to be feature in Esquire’s “Me and My Place.” Would you like to stop over?

The 29-year-old actress, who was born and raised in Canada, first appeared in television in 2005 in the mini-series “Beach Girls.”

She’s worked mostly in Canadian television in guest appearances on such programs as “The Dresden Files,” “Sophie,” and television movie “Murder on Her Mind.” On the big screen, she appeared in the controversial “I’m Not There,” that starred Cate Blanchett as Bob Dylan.

She also appeared in 2007’s “Alien vs. Predator: Requiem” and has kind of found a niche in science fiction. Her latest role in “Being Human,” a vampire drama, is quickly introducing her to American audiences.

She started out with a recurring guest spot on the show in 2011 and became a full-time cast-member for Season 2 last year and Season 3 this year. The series focuses on three roommates living in Boston, who appear normal, but are actually a ghost, a vampire and a werewolf.

Hager plays Nora Sergeant a nurse where two of the roommates work. She becomes romantically involved with the werewolf, who is afraid he might discover his true identity. Nora accidentally is scratched by the werewolf and turns into one herself.

“Over the course of the season, there will be more ups and more downs, but they are more strongly united than they’ve been and will continue to be,” she recently told the Hollywood Reporter.

“Aidan and Nora will butt heads a few times this season,” Hager said.

At home in real life, she may bite, but judging from these photos, it’s a risk worth taking. Check them out, a trailer from her show, and be sure to follow TheImproper on Twitter for more celebrity updates.
